In the first Book Club of 2024 Tadd dives into the aftermath of the enchanted meeting on the road as Susan returns home and is questioned by her Aunt and later when she goes to bed and has trouble sleeping. In the latest Book Club Tadd finds Rhea hearing Susan coming and running into her hut, also sees Susan's side of it and noticing Rhea running into the hut. Then Susan gets there and things do not go well and we learn a lot about the situation, Susan is sent to get more wood and sees Rhea looking at the Ball. Then Rhea "inspects" Susan for her purity both physically and spiritually. Then before she leaves Rhea tells her there is one more thing.

In this latest Book Club Tadd and Peter follow the Ka-Tet through the Captain Trips ravaged Gage Park, Zoo, Aviary, and Snack Bar including one scary surprise for Jake. Then then find the Highway and Eddie says he is Turnpikin' again. They see all manner of graffiti as they move down the thinny surrounded highway. At Camp Roland promises his story the next night and that night Eddie has a nightmare about the Rose, he and Roland discuss it after he starts awake.

In this section Tadd and Peter cover more strange things coming from Roland in the light of the Thinny. Then getting off Blaine's carcass and look around at the station on Topeka side. There they discover bodies and a newspaper talking about Captain Trips. Then as they move on Eddie grabs a 1986 era wheelchair for Susannah and they look at the many cars and bumperstickers on the turnpike.

In this Book Club Tadd and Peter finish up Chapter 3 where we see Eddie Cantor Dean absolutely destroy Blaine the Mono with a number of jokes. Also the Mono crashes and causes some nicks and dinges but the Tet is safe but once they get outside Roland hears a sound and is stricken in a way we have not really seen before.

In this Book Club Tadd and Peter go through all of Chapter 2 and the first 3 subchapters of Chapter 3. We follow the Ka-Tet on Blaine to the Fall of the Hounds as Blaine changes over to battery powe, Blaine makes an All in the Family mistake, Jake's hand is no longer hurting, Eddie is "zonin' out" and Roland is out of Riddles and everything Jake has is answered promptly. Then just as Tadd and Peter get to the end of this section Eddie raises his hand holding back laughter.

In the final Book Club for The Waste Lands we truly see what the titular Waste Lands really are as our Tet is hurling faster than the speed of sound in Blaine the Mono. Also Jake reveals his suspicion (correct suspicion) that Blaine is going to kill himself. Blaine reveals his role in serving Lud as a god, including killing people. Blaine demands Riddles and Roland responds with "fuck you" and gives us one of his greatest monologues so far. Then Blaine sets the game if he can't solve one of their riddles he will let them live, but if they can't stump him they will die with him. Then the game begins... just as the novel ends.

In the penultimate Book Club for The Waste Lands Tadd and Peter find the Ka-Tet trying to solve Bllaine's Riddle as the time is ticking down. Eventually Detta Walker makes her return and solves the riddle (with Jake's help) and they board Blaine the Mono and they begin moving. The train goes invisible and they see the city being gassed and we get our first look at The REAL Waste Lands beyond the wall.

In the latest Book Club Tadd and Peter follow Roland, Jake, and Oy as they move through the bowels of Lud all the while seeing the mass suicides and killings of both the Pubes and the Grays, also they pass through a massive room full of computers which is the mind of Blaine. The Deans see The Cradle open up and the Ka-Tet is finally reunited but told that they have little time before Blaine gasses the city. Last of all we see Randall "The Man in Black" Flagg heal Tick-Tock Man.

In the first Book Club of the first year Tadd and Peter cover Book 2, Chapter 5, Subchapters 31-37. In which Jake is tortured further by Tick-Tock and his merry band of goons. Oy makes his move and all hell breaks loose, eventually Roland is let in and Jake and Oy are saved. But then the entire city begins to be pierced by an alarm and a Blaine questions Roland and Jake.

In the last Book Club of 2022 Tadd and Peter check in with all 3 parties of our fractured Ka-Tet. Jake comes face to face with the dangerous Tick-Tock Man and he learns just how dangerous he is, and he saw some gold-ringed eyes in the air duct. Roland has hit a dead-end with the door, but finds a small vent and sends Oy through for recon, and then sends him again, likely to his death. Then the Deans face down the ever electric Blaine as they discover Riddles is what he wants.
